I can hide here, be myself, escape the pressures from societies expectations and looks from people judging me by what I do, say or listen to.
I have lived here for 24 years. Same house, same bedroom. These walls have seen me grow up…struggle through the teenage years, move out, come back, cry, laugh and study for where I am and what I’m doing today.
This is my bedroom and I feel its the one place that is mine truly. I think even if I move out eventually this room will always be mine and the one sacred haven of a space I have created.
